Indira Gandhi National Open University known as IGNOU is a Central Open Learning University that is one of the largest Universities in the World. This university was established to give distance and open education to the candidates. Many lakhs of students get enrolled in IGNOU University every year for different courses.

IGNOU conducts its exam two times a year. The Term End Examination (TEE) is conducted in June and December. For conducting these examinations IGNOU needs exam centres. Generally, the study centres of IGNOU are taken as exam centres.

The university allows the candidate the opportunity to choose the exam centre that is nearest and appropriate for them to appear for the exams. As the study centres are allotted as the exam centres it gives ease to the candidates. But it depends on the candidates. The candidates can do this choice when they fill-up the form IGNOU Exam Form 2024.

The candidates fill in the centre code in the form and that centre is allotted to the candidate. If by any of the circumstances the centre chosen by you is not operational then a new centre will be allotted to you. Selecting the IGNOU Exam Centre for the TEE Exam Form

• Step1: Go to the official website of IGNOU: ignou.ac.in
• Step2: Select the Online IGNOU Exam Form Submission Link.
• Step3: Enter the Programme code or select the Programme Code.
• Step4: Enter your Enrolment Number
• Step5: Then a list of IGNOU exam centre list pdf appears. Select the Regional Centre from the Dropdown list in which you want to appear for the exams.
• Step6: Then Click on the Submit Button

In the drop-down list, candidate can access the list of active examination centre by selecting their regional centre from the drop-down list. In this drop-down list, candidate gets the IGNOU exam centre code list. From this list, the candidate can select the IGNOU exam centre near me.

As per the University rules, the candidates are allotted the centres selected by them. But if the exam centre selected by them has all the seats filled, then in that case the university allots the nearest centre to the candidate.

What if a candidate wants to change his Examination Centre

IGNOU University gives the candidates one opportunity to change their examination centre. But this change can only be made during the prescribed period as suggested by the IGNOU university. To change the exam, centre the candidate needs to follow the following steps.

• Step1: Visit the official website of IGNOU: ignou.ac.in
• Step2: Click on the IGNOU TEE exam centre link available on the home page.
• Step3: Enter the enrolment number, program, and date of birth and click on submit button.
• Step4: Select the new centre, and press the submit button.

IGNOU University has more than 600 examination centres. IGNOU exam centre list is created region, city and state wise. This makes it easier for the candidate to choose the centre.
